Extra Curricular Activities

At VISS Central Region, we believe that learning goes far beyond the classroom. From PreKG to Grade 10 students engage in a wide variety of incursions and excursions tied to the learning taking place in the classroom as well as within the personal and social domains.

Additionally, from Grade 7 onwards, all students participate in a diverse range of lunchtime clubs that are designed to spark curiosity, develop new skills, and nurture individual talents. The programme is carefully planned each term to ensure there is something for everyone, whether a child’s interests lie in science, technology, creativity, sport, design or strategy.

Clubs include opportunities such as STEM challenges, robotics, Lego coding, chess, art, drama, marketing and a variety of sports and fitness activities. Each club is guided by enthusiastic and skilled teachers who create a safe and stimulating environment where students can try new things, practise perseverance, and experience the joy of discovery. Participation in clubs helps children to build friendships across year groups, develop teamwork and leadership, and grow in confidence as they explore their passions. The clubs programme is a vital part of our holistic approach to education, ensuring that every child has the chance to shine both inside and outside the classroom.
